Spring break – Monday, March 4: Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday* 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday evening: Free admission Wednesdays starting at 5 p.m., courtesy of BMO Financial Group. Extra admission fees of $10,00 (taxes included) to visit major exhibitions.
  • Children: Free admission at all times for children 17 and under, ( J.A. DeSève Foundation for free admission of 12 and under and the Rossy
    Foundation for free admission for teens ages 13 to 17.)
  • Special Schedule: The Museum is open on Mondays for Spring Break, and on holidays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Christmas and New Year’s day.

Archives and Documentation Centre

The Archives and Documentation Centre is open, by appointment only, Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Café Notman

Café Notman is located in the McCord Stewart Museum in the cultural heart of Montreal, it is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wanting  to pay tribute to the great photographer William Notman (1826-1891), the team of Olive Orange, managing the Café, offers a fresh menu featuring local, healthy ingredients.
