Illustrator Charlotte Parent invites families to (re)discover the wonderful flora and fauna of Nitassinan. Join us for a reading of the book Le premier arbre de Noël, followed by a greeting card workshop with the artist.

Wampum-Making Workshop

Saturday, December 30 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m

To represent the importance given to words and the commitment to respect them, the Kanien’kehaka use the wampum belt during ceremonies to remember the word or the promise that has been made. Come learn more about this important aspect of Indigenous cultures.
Workshop hosted by PAAL Partageons le monde and presented alongside the exhibition Wampum: Beads of Diplomacy.

For the fifth year in a row, the Museum and the Centre social d’aide aux immigrants (CSAI) are inviting you to donate a gently used toy to a family that has recently settled in Montreal. To participate, simply drop off your donation in the collection box at the Museum.
