On this participatory guided tour of two exhibitions, visitors discover the works of British fashion photographer Norman Parkinson and of 17 Québec fashion photographers.

From May 3 to June 14, the tour covers only the Norman Parkinson: Always in Style exhibition. From September 3 to 29, it covers only the Portraits and Fashion – Québec Photographers Beyond Borders exhibition.

This exhibition bears witness to the still unrecognized knowledge of Indigenous peoples in Québec and Canada, as well as to the deep wounds they carry and their inspiring resilience. Carefully selected objects from the Museum’s Indigenous Cultures collection are combined with powerful inspiring stories from members of Québec’s 11 Indigenous nations, shedding light on their knowledge and philosophies.
