Drawing on Peace

As part of the celebrations marking the centenary of the end of World War I, the McCord Museum is collaborating with Musée de la civilisation, Vision Diversité and its education partners to offer the project “Drawing on Peace.”

Participating primary and secondary school classes learn about press cartoons and caricatures, two powerful communication tools that defend the values of inclusiveness, democracy and peace.

The McCord Museum’s collection of editorial cartoons is front and centre in the instruction sessions held at the Museum, overseen by cartoonists from the European network Cartooning for Peace.
