Working Places, Changing Spaces
LECTURE PRESENTED ON MARCH 27, 2013
The re-use, reconversion and revitalisation of industrial neighbourhoods and buildings in Montreal has resulted in a variety of buildings, displays and artistic projects; both popular and contested. What happens socially, architecturally and culturally when an urban sector changes its use? Come hear about some projects that experiment with the meaning and use of industrial spaces.
