Every Wednesday in July

The Urban Forest Goes Green

The McCord Museum takes environmental protection into account in developing and carrying out its initiatives. The Museum is collaborating with the Société pour l’action, l’éducation et la sensibilisation environnementale de Montréal (SAESEM) to create a green space in the Urban Forest to help combat urban heat islands.

Come and meet the SAESEM team at their sustainable development outreach kiosk in the Museum’s Urban Forest. Discuss ideas for better waste management and raising awareness about best practices for greening, beautification, urban agriculture, etc.

A recycling station is available: Bring your batteries, corks, polystyrene and Styrofoam, used pencils, etc.

Free activity.
Location: The Urban Forest
