Fashion at the Museum

The documentary Made in Italy, by the European channel Arte, portrays the development of Italian fashion from the 1940s in Rome to then move to Milan. The film evokes the great names of couture—Simonetta, Gucci, Versace, etc.—and reveals how small family businesses underwent a rapid development that led to the global influence of the Italian clothing industry.
