Postponed – The Photobook Club: About Griffintown with Robert Walker
The McCord Museum is closely monitoring current events and developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Following the recommendations of the Quebec government to cancel any event gathering more than 250 people, the McCord Museum will cancel its cultural and family activities, which bring a certain proximity, until April 10.
Artists and photography lovers will gather at the Museum to talk about photography books on the theme of “The city as photographic subject” around the concept of the exhibition Griffintown – Evolving Montreal, showcasing photographs by Robert Walker and presented at the McCord Museum.
For this event, the Photobook Club – Montreal also invites participants to bring books from their personal collection in order to contribute their point of view and enrich the discussion.
An initiative of Jean-François Hamelin, Josée Schryer and Thomas Bouquin.
Free activity, limited places.
You can book seats beginning in March 2020.
The presentation will be given in French, but participants are welcome to speak French or English.
Location: J. Armand Bombardier Theatre, McCord Museum
