Sakchin Bessette – Visionary

In the context of the exhibition Notman, A Visionary Photographer, the McCord Museum, in collaboration with BDC Capital and the Notman House, has organised an informal series featuring exceptional Montreal entrepreneurs.

Since co-founding Moment Factory in 2001, Sakchin Bessette has channelled his passion for visual arts, storytelling, and interactive technology into a perpetual quest to amaze, inspire emotion, and bring people together in public spaces. As co-founder and executive creative director of Moment Factory, Sakchin has been at the creative helm of more than 350 multimedia installations, environments and events around the world.

Developing and applying cutting-edge visual technologies, strong storytelling, and rigorous artistic values have always been integral elements of his vision. Moment Factory’s fusion of creative content with artistic ingenuity continues to push the boundaries of excellence in new media and public art. Audience participation and interactivity have been at the heart of the studio’s practice since its inception.

Enjoy a networking moment after the lecture. Wine and appetizers will be served.

Location: Notman House – 51 Sherbrooke Street West, Montréal
