Improvised Neighbourhoods: 8th Phase

The Urban Forest

Improvised Neighbourhoods” are 13 happenings in public places featuring house-comedians and invited players from different improv troupes in the city. Under the direction of their leader, they will participate in various improvisational games using the history of the area where the event takes place as a theme. We will have the pleasure of welcoming Stéphan Lamoureux, Robert Bouchard, Céline Champagne and Lionel Reynaud.

A fun way to learn more about the history of the different neighbourhoods in the Ville-Marie borough.

“Improvised Neighborhoods” is an event that is part of the official program of Montréal’s 375th anniversary.

The project “Improvised Neighborhoods” is produced by TCF, the Montreal community television, in collaboration with Ville-Marie borough and MATV. This project is funded by the City of Montreal, on the occasion of the 375th anniversary of Montreal. TCF also thanks the Government of Quebec for its contribution to the project’s funding, as well as the Centre d’histoire de Montréal for its historical expertise.

Presentation in French. Free activity and open to all.

Location: Victoria Street, between Sherbrooke Street West and President-Kennedy Avenue.

Happening will take place in the Theatre Bombardier in case of rain.
