Guided tour: Legacy in Haida culture
The McCord Museum is giving a special tour of the exhibition Sding K’awXangs – Haida: Supernatural Stories around the concept of legacy, in collaboration with The IMAGINE Week.
In Haida culture, knowledge is transmitted through intangible actions, stories, and skills. The objects presented in the exhibition are the fruit of this ancestral practice. A discussion period on this theme will follow the guided tour.
This event is part of The IMAGINE Week, which brings together activities intended to provoke thought on end-of-life questions.
