From One Bridge to Another: Engineering Challenges and Urban Development
The McCord Museum, in partnership with SNC-Lavalin, invites you to explore the exhibition Notman, A Visionary Photographer from an entirely new angle thanks to an exclusive joint tour accompanied by a guide in tandem with Francesco Mascarella, engineer and design coordinator for the construction of the new Champlain Bridge.
Learn about stereoscopic technique and William Notman’s photographs, all while discovering the importance of Victoria Bridge’s construction in the 19th century. Accompanied by an engineer from SNC-Lavalin, you’ll also have the chance to take a leap into 21st century to learn about the construction of the new Champlain Bridge and its challenges.
