Expo 67 Mission Impossible

Created like a large cinematic fresco, the thriller Expo 67 Mission Impossible lets us a glimpse into the world of Montreal’s own Mad Men. The organisers have only 1628 days to build an island, 128 pavilions, 3 bridges, and a few trains that will be receiving tens of millions of visitors. Expo 67 wanted to be, and was, a formidable utopia whose effects are still visible 50 years later.

Free activity.
Screening in French followed by a discussion with Éric Ruel, the film’s co-director, and a bilingual question period.

Location: J. Armand Bombardier Theater at the McCord Museum.
