Conversations about the exhibition Fashioning Expo 67

Fashion at the Museum

Cynthia Cooper, Curator, Costume and Textiles, will speak about the process of trying to recapture the essence of an ephemeral fashion moment from objects in the McCord Museum collection, and her extensive search for supporting evidence in archives and peoples’ memories.

She will tell of her surprising finds along the way, what may still be in people’s closets, and what may be lost forever.

Panel discussion in English followed by a bilingual question period. Free and open to all.

Location:  J. Armand Bombardier Theatre at the McCord Museum
