Children at Work
Introduction
Assignment done by Kathy Chan, grade 10, David Thompson Secondary, Vancouver, BC. Teacher: Tom Morton. Winter 2005.
As industrialization began to sweep across the nation, less physical force was needed to complete a task, making work easier in general. Factories began to hire women and children since they were now capable of performing the task at hand.
This is the story of the 18 year old boy, Charles Weir.
