New exhibition of the McCord Museum, presented by Le Lait, source naturelle de réconfort.
Through a keyhole, we catch a glimpse of a world that's larger than life - the world of childhood and the imagination. Just in time for the holiday season, the McCord Museum displays its impressive collection of toys. A fun, interactive exhibition designed for children 3 to 10, but that will also enchant the young at heart.
Free admission for children 12 and under.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all time in the exhibition room.
Reservation is required for all groups of 10 children or more.
Interactive tours of the exhibition and creative workshops are available.

March School Break at the McCord Museum

These activities are included in the regular McCord admission fees. Until March 6, admission is free for children 12 and under.
The McCord Museum is delighted to offer children (and their parents) a wide range of activities during March break, March 2 to 6, 2011. Staying home is not an option!
Wednesday, March 2: Chess 'n Math Day
A day devoted to chess. Children will play on a giant chessboard as they are coached on the basics of this game of strategy. Those aged 8 and up will be invited to join in a simultaneous tournament with a chess master from Chess 'n Math, who will take on multiple players at once

Thursday, March 3 and Friday, March 4: Puppet Days
The arts will be front and centre at the McCord as part of an inspiring daily program. Our young visitors will have a chance to let their imaginations run wild as they construct a puppet and participate in the creation of a group show.

Saturday, March 5 and Sunday March 6: Lego Days
QuéLug (Quebec Lego User Group) will visit the McCord to present a variety of LEGO© models representing hours of playtime and pleasure.
