One Week at the McCord Museum
The Young McCord Council, together with the McCord Museum, need your help to make a difference in the lives of kids from disadvantaged communities in Montreal. By making a donation, you have the power to help bring these kids to the McCord Museum for a week of fun, imagination and education. Your generosity will inspire children to learn about our history, our people, and our communities.

Why One Week at the McCord Museum is so special (and why you should donate)!
From creating their very own art projects to exploring artefacts at the Museum, children have the opportunity to evolve and learn in an interactive environment.
A social environment promotes learning. Children will work in small groups to allow them to feel comfortable sharing their ideas and exploring new ground.
The Museum Education programs in collaboration with the school’s teacher work together to transform a typical classroom experience into a centre of discovery.
It’s funded by a new generation of donors!
The One Week at the McCord Museum campaign is an initiative of the Young McCord Council, a group of young professionals who care deeply about making the Museum accessible to everyone. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to provide children with a unique opportunity to (re)discover the rich social history of our city in an innovative and interactive environment.
It’s up to you!
Giving these children the opportunity to experience the McCord Museum depends on your generosity and support. Make a donation and help us spread the word about this wonderful initiative!
