Eight bishops of the Episcopal Church in Canada were present at the Provincial Synod held in Montreal. Reading from left to right, they were: Bishop Helmuth of Huron, Bishop Fauquier of Algoma, Bishop Binney of Nova Scotia, Bishop Oxenden of Montreal, Bishop Lewis of Ontario, Bishop Bethune of Toronto, Bishop Medley of Fredericton and Bishop Williams of Quebec.
