Saving an Iconic Neighbourhood: Milton Park

Accompanied by a Museum guide, your students will explore the Milton Park neighbourhood and discover the action taken by its residents in the 1970s to preserve it. This was a time of change for Montreal, when many of the city’s old buildings were being torn down to make room for the concrete jungle. Such would have been the fate of Milton Park as well, were it not for committed Montrealers who fought for their neighbourhood.

Combine your tour with the Reshaping Hôtel-Dieu activity.
