Words to Change Award Ceremony: Imbolo Mbue

In the context of the Blue Met Festival, McCord Museum is pleased to welcome the Words to Change Award Ceremony.

Imbolo Mbue receives the Words to Change Prize for Behold the Dreamers, her powerful debut novel set in NYC, about a young immigrant couple from Cameroon and the struggles they face in their country of adoption during the global financial crisis of 2007-2008.

The award ceremony will be followed by a conversation between the author and Jeanette Kelly.

Free and open to all.
Prize giving and conversation will be in English.
