The Montreal Baroque Festival

The Urban Forest

The Montreal Baroque Festival is an annual great celebration of ancient music in Québec’s cultural metropole. This festival is full of discoveries, encounters and surprises. For this occasion, the Urban Forest is pleased to welcome La Fanfare Carmagnole for a concert.

The Carmagnole Band, improbable and wild, has been created to set Circassian and its craziness to music…

Born from Carmagnole, a typical dance from French revolution, it is a collective movement around circus arts. The band wanders around Montreal, always trying to make you move thanks to: Alexis Basque, cornet; Victor Alibert, clarinette; Mathieu Langlois, saxophone; Chantale Urbain, accordion; Guillaume Roy, tube; Philippe Legault, tuba; Eve Copland, drum.

Free concert.

Location: Victoria Street, between Sherbrooke Street West and President-Kennedy Avenue.
Unless otherwise indicated, concerts will be cancelled in case of rain.

Not to be missed!
