Hands-on workshop related to our exhibitions
Every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Families are invited to enhance their visit to the Museum with a hands-on workshop. Featuring topics associated with our exhibitions and collections, these activities change with the seasons and the Museum’s programming. Free for children ages 3 to 12, workshops are presented in English and French.

Families work together to decorate a paper moccasin with patterns that represent their identity. These creations can be adorned with paper, glitter and various textures.
May 6 to November 11, 2018
Known as a sevivon in Hebrew, a trompo in Spanish, and a teetotum across Europe, a spinning top has long been used in traditional games. Families are invited to make their own top and learn the various games that can be played with it. Fun and treats included!
Free activities for children aged 12 and under. Limited places.
Location: Atrium of the McCord Museum.
