On the Runway at Expo 67

Experience Expo 67 Fashion as if you were there!

Immerse yourself in the effervescent time that was Expo 67 and relive 1960’s fashion, an event hosted by Vanessa Pilon put on in collaboration with the Festival Mode & Design and presented as part of the exhibition Fashioning Expo 67.

Montreal’s fashion icons will walk the runway showcasing vintage 1960’s creations in all their color and splendor! Clothing will be provided by Espace Costume and selected by Montreal stylist Maude Sénécal, and will feature personal favorites of both Chantal Lamarre, ambassador of Fashioning Expo 67 exhibition, and her associate Sylvie Dumontier, the duo also known as Les Galipeau’s.

In an ambiance reminiscent of Expo 67’s runways featuring models on roller-skates, marvel at the exclusive looks presented by our models for the day: Alexandre Turcotte (Ton Barbier), Anne-Lovely Etienne (Journal de Montréal and 24 heures), Carolane Stratis (The Pretty Looks), Caroline Elie (The Everyday Luxury), Carrie Macpherson (Eat, Drink and Be Carrie), Gerardine Jeune (Mlle Geri) and Vincent Mazrou (Mazrou)!

Montreal artist and musician Tony Almonte, internationally known, will honor Expo 67 by revisiting the music of the 1960s.

Location: Place des Festivals on Passerelle Casino de Montréal (main scene).

Join the event on Facebook and share your favorite 1960s outfits with #Expo67McCord and #FMD17
