MURAL Festival

The Urban Forest

MURAL Festival has become over the years one of the fastest growing festivals in Montreal, drawing in street artists from various parts of the globe. This public art festival celebrates creativity and generalizes the urban art.

This year, it takes place from June 8 to June 18 on Saint-Laurent Boulevard and will extend on President-Kennedy Avenue thanks to new collaboration between Mural Festival and the McCord Museum. Come attend the creation of a live mural!

It’s the German street artist, 1010 (pronounced “ten-ten”), international and mysterious character who will cover the McCord Museum’s southern wall. Based in Hamburg, he is acclaimed for his enigmatic street art pieces and its urban mirages.

Free activity.

Location: Museum’s southern wall, corner of President-Kennedy Avenue and Victoria Street.
