MONTREAL ENTREPRENEURS TELL THEIR STORY

Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Jean-François Bouchard – Visionary

Lecture Series

In the context of the exhibition Notman, A Visionary Photographer, the McCord Museum, in collaboration with BDC Capital and the Notman House, has organised an informal series featuring exceptional Montreal entrepreneurs.

Innovator and leader in his area of expertise, Jean-François Bouchard will discuss his career trajectory from his first steps in the business world to his personal definition of what it means to be a visionary today. What a fantastic opportunity to brush shoulders with one of Montreal’s important players.

In addition to being president and founder of the highly interdisciplinary creative agency Sid Lee, which employs more than 600 people in offices in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Paris and Amsterdam, Jean-François Bouchard is the founder and chair of the Board of C2 Montreal — an international summit for innovation that draws more than 5,000 participants to Montreal’s Old Port each year.

He is also an accomplished photographer whose work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. His main mission is to dissolve the existing barriers between disciplines that are believed to be oppositional, such as art and business, in order to create unexpected opportunities and combinations.

Enjoy a networking moment after the lecture. Wine and appetizers will be served.

Location:  J. Armand Bombardier Theatre at the McCord Museum
