This lecture presents a retrospective of memorable cartoons from the 50‑year career of Aislin, one of the country’s most influential cartoonists. With his incisive and wicked sense of humour, Aislin has a unique perspective on the major events that have marked Quebec’s turbulent modern history.

About the Lecturer

Christian Vachon is Curator, Paintings, Prints and Drawings, and has curated various exhibitions, including Cartooning Calamities! and Aislin: 50 Years of Cartoons.

Free activity. Lecture in French, followed by a bilingual question period accompanied by tea offered by DAVIDs TEA.
