Fashioning Expo 67: Imagine Fashion 50 years later

Expo 67 launched Montreal designers and Canadian fashion onto the world stage. What if this universal exhibition were to return to Montreal 50 years later? To whom might we entrust the design of the host and hostess uniforms and how would they look? What vision of Canadian and Quebecois fashion might we see on the runway? Designers Daniel Beaudet (Leinad Beaudet) and Marie-Ève Émond (Betina Lou) will contribute to this event by proposing sketches for the occasion.

Animation by Stéphane Le Duc, journalist/editor at Dress to KILL Magazine.

Join us in the Atrium of the McCord Museum where students from the Cégep Marie-Victorin will help you design your own sketches for host and hostess uniforms, version 2017.
