DAVID W. MARVIN: A CHRONICLER OF MONTREAL
Tea at the McCord
Arwen Fleming, guest curator from Concordia University’s Department of Communication Studies, introduces the life and work of David Wallace Marvin, who left a rich historical record of Montreal in the 1960s and 1970s. The McCord Museum has acquired nearly 6,000 of his photographs. Fleming will focus on the 24 images that make up the outdoor exhibition on McGill College Avenue, David W. Marvin: Street Chronicles 1965–1975.
The lectures from the series Tea at McCord focus on the Museum’s collections and exhibitions.
The presentation will be in English followed by a bilingual question period. Tea and biscuits are served.
