Fundraiser for the JDRF

Thursday September 3, 2015, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Corn Roast

The Urban Forest

For the 6th year, Industrielle Alliance’s employees are involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (FRDJ) in order to raise funds for juvenile diabetes research.

They are organizing a corn roast as part of this fundraising effort and all profits will be donated to the JDRF, a non-profit organisation that is a global leader in type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The JDRF’s objective is to progressively eliminate the impact of T1D in the lives of people affected by the disease until we live in a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with many partners and is the only organisation with the scientific resources, decisional influence on legislation and a specific work plan to enable the progression of innovative treatments from the lab to the community.

The JDRF is the biggest philanthropic funder of T1D research and finances over $568 million in research across 17 countries.

Location: The Urban Forest on Victoria street between Sherbrooke Street and  Président-Kennedy Avenue.

In case of rain, the activity  will take place on Friday September 11.

Not to be missed!
